Comfort

Comfort Shared2 Corinthians 1:1-10

For you to be comforted, we have to go through suffering.

For us to comfort others, we have to first suffer, be comforted, then give comfort to those who are suffering.

God is the God of all comfort.

God comforts us in all our tribulation.

He does this so that we may be able to comfort those in any tribulation.

We are able to do this because we ourselves are comforted by God.

Verses 3-4

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort by which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
