God of All My Days. Casting Crowns

I came to You with my heart in pieces
And found the God with healing in His hands
I turned to You, put everything behind me
And found the God who makes all things new
I looked to You, drowning in my questions
And found the God who holds all wisdom
And I trusted You and stepped out on the ocean
You caught my hand among the waves
‘Cause You’re the God of all my days
Each step I take
You make a way
And I will give You all my praise
My seasons change, You stay the same
You’re the God of all my days
I ran from You, I wandered in the shadows
And found a God who relentlessly pursues
I hid from You, haunted by my failure
And found the God whose grace still covers me
I fell on You when I was at my weakest
And found the God, the lifter of my head
And I’ve worshiped You
And felt You right beside me
You’re the reason that I sing
‘Cause You’re the God of all my days
Each step I take
You make a way
And I will give You all my praise
My seasons change, You stay the same
You’re the God of all my days
In my worry, God You are my stillness
In my searching, God You are my answers
In my blindness, God You are my vision
In my bondage, God You are my freedom
In my weakness, God You are my power
You’re the reason that I sing
‘Cause You’re the God of all my days
Each step I take
You make a way
And I will give You all my praise
My seasons change, You stay the same
You’re the God of all my days
In my blindness, God You are my vision
And in my bondage, God You are my freedom
All my days

Songs…

…I liked while working in DCB(Dylan’s Candy Bar)

“It’s not unusual … to see me cry…” by Tom Jones, Written about the time of the 1960’s.

“…if it’s love that you’re feeling, I second that emotion…” : Song by: The Miracles Song: I Second That Emotion. Release date: 2010

“…I don’t want nobody, if I can’t get you…” Song by the Bee Gees. Release Date: 1979

I laughed at these songs when I heard the lyrics. Having asked a coworker what decade the music is from she said the 80’s. Time to search to see if it’s true. Having searched, one song was released in 1979. The others I’m not completely sure about. It was a quick search. Lyrics that were so interesting and clean in a way, compared to today’s non-Christian music.

This Song

Is a new favorite.

Loving others as God loves them isn’t an easy task. God’s love is at such a higher level. He gives it to us so that we can give it to others.

[[[I once learned that the original definition of the word known in the bible is very similar to, if it is not, the intimacy shared during sexual intercourse. Check if you don’t believe me.]]]

In N.Y.C. and this weather is hugging me.

It’s a comfortable warmth with comfortable cool breeze. Not really looking forward to work tomorrow, but I have to go. Now I see why it’s been said, “Do what you love.”

Music: If You Aint’ In It – Danny Gokey

I learned in a difficult matter this year that if God is not in it, whatever it is, won’t work.

“…everything will just fall apart if You ain’t in in…”

Don’t forget God in whatever you do or you will end up losing something. Either losing that thing or your soul, I don’t know what you may lose. Just remember that all sin results in death. [For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 NKJV]

This is a cool song though. The lyrics are on point….

Here’s a lyric video. The spelling of the word “right,” is “write” which I believe is incorrect. Yet, this video has the gist of the lyrics.

Music: Watch You Be A Mother Jonny Diaz

Mother’s day is this Sunday! Tomorrow!

To all the mama’s out there: Happy Mother’s Day to you. Single or Married, enjoy this day being a mother to your child or children.

Today. I fell in love with this song. It’s a beautiful story. While listening to Sirius XM I heard that Jonny Diaz made this song for his wife. It’s beautiful. The way I imagine their story, it’s beautiful. I like these kinds of stories. So tell your love story. I still like my love story – God is the author.
