Morning Text Message: God Is For Us Part 1

“Romans 8:31
…if God be for us, who (or what) can be against us (or get victory over us)?
• No one and nothing can get victory against us who are in Christ Jesus.
•In Christ we have total victory.
1 Corinthians 15:57
Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus.
1 John5:4-4
4. For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
•Victory in Jesus, my Savior, forever. He sought me and bought me with His Redeeming Blood…
+++Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Alleluia! and Amen!”

+++Consider yourself victorious over sickness, diseases, poverty, the devil and all your enemies.

“I repent for sins seen and unseen.”How can unseen sin be confessed?

Leviticus 4:2, 14
“Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a person sins intentionally against any of the commandments of the LORD in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them…when the sin which they have committed becomes known then the assembly shall offer a young bull for the sin, and bring it before the tabernacle of meeting.'”

It is after the unintentional sin is seen that repentance should be made.

What is the worth and value in repenting for unseen sin if we don’t know what we are sorry for and what we are turning from?

Here, the Israelites are told to offer a sin offering when the sin they’ve committed becomes known. In replace of repenting for unseen sin, we should pray: “see if there be any wicked way in me, reveal to me my sin, lead me in the way everlasting.” For then we will know what the sin was, what to be sorry for, and what to turn away from.

It is in knowing this that correction can be made; knowing the sin and aiming or choosing to change.

Reminder: We need the Holy Spirit for this change. In our own strength we can’t overcome sin, but through Christ we already have the victory over sin (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Thanks and glory be to God for this revelation through His Word.

“But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57
