We Won’t Break – Our Daily Bread Devo

(saved from drafts and posting now)

We Won’t Break

That is the title of Our Daily Bread Devotional for today. I respond by saying, ‘Amen.’

Here is an excerpt from the reading:
After Jesus affirms that the greatest treasures are not earthly or temporary, He encourages us to release our anxious thoughts. The Creator and Sustainer of the universe loves and provides for His children, so we don’t have to waste our precious time worrying. God knows our needs and will care for us (Matthew 6:19–32).

Also, I encourage you all to read the devotional from March 1st-especially if you tend to worry about things Christians don’t need to worry about when we trust God. Before bed some thoughts came to my mind, and I had to purposefully remind myself to trust God and go to sleep! 😅

I give thanks to God because I woke up today and after a few seconds, I remembered what I wanted to get done this morning, then I got a burst of energy and hopped right out of bed!

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Love God

Quote From Book: The Me I Want to Be

Life is too short, joy is too precious, God is too good, our soul is too valuable, we matter too much to throw away a single moment of our one and only life on anxious striving. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid.

From the book The Me I Want to Be by John Ortberg chapter 10 page 127.

“Therefore I remind you to stir the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power if God.”
2 Timothy 1:6, 7, & 8.
