Nothing Is Useless

Our Daily Bread devotional for Monday June 12th 2017

This is todays devotional that I have shared with you all.

Though I’m not entirely physically handicapped, I have wondered how can I please God with what I do. That is talked about in this reading. It is in encouraging others, uplifting them, greeting people with a smile. Bringing joy to someone in some way.  The plus side of this devotional is that whatever is done for God lasts, it is worth it and in the end it will be worth it.  What we do for God matters, no matter how few resources we may think we have.  Look again at what is in your hand and use it. If you become stuck, ask the Lord, or our Father or His holy Spirit through prayer, what is it that you can do to benefit one person or part of the church if not the whole church.

Today is Monday. To me it feels like a holiday. Make the best of this day in whatever you do.

Praise God my brothers and sisters in Christ!

Love God

A Word for Today

“Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other…warn those who are idle, encourage those who are timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.”

-1 Thessalonians  5:12-15 (NIV)
