Puzzle Piece?

Didn’t want to go to rehearsal tonight because it’s easier to not make the stop and just head straight home. But something kept nudging me to go. So I went. Plus this time I had enough transportation fare.

Again tonight, it felt right. Like the puzzle piece that fits right into its perfect spot. Like this is where I’m supposed to be. Truth is I haven’t been to rehearsal consistently for a little over a year now.

Lord, you know all about it.
Still in Your hands this remains.
Choir robe? Lol, You already know.
You’ll work it out, You always do Lord.
Thank You that I went tonight.

Redemption (In School Update)

As the semester started a few months ago, I posted about beginning a new journey by starting nursing school. I was jus reminded by my boyfriend to share my testimony, so

Here’s an update: I’m doing quite well in all of my classes, praise God!
There’s one class in particular that sticks out and it’s Elementary Statistics. So far, I’ve gotten grades that range within the 80’s.
A few years ago though, for my associate’s degree, I was taking statistics – and failing (while going through some family trouble). So I withdrew from Statistics and got a W grade. I wasn’t happy about it, but it was better than getting a F or even a D.

This is why I call this redemption. I’m taking Stats again, but this time God is with me and I’m passing! Glory to God!

Look at the past to give thanks for what God is doing in your present.

Truly remembering the past can cause you to miss the blessing of the present. It’s happened to me with things other than school. The best thing to do is to start giving thanks to God for things in the present, then also for things that you’re expecting Him to change, fix or do. It’s also good to give thanks for lessons learned or situations in the past.

God is still redeeming, restoring, making things new, making things beautiful. He is still fulfilling His promises and keeping His Word. He is still being faithful. Glory to God!

Morning Text Message • 07/30/2014

Matt 9:29
Jesus said: According to your faith be it unto you.
+++Your faith in God is the deciding factor on you getting your requests from God.
+++Jesus is still saying to you “Be it unto you according to your faith”.
Rom 4:20-21
20. Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21. And Abraham being fully persuaded that, what God had promised him God was able also to perform.
+++Your key to receive from God is your faith. Keep your faith in God. He is faithful. By faith you will always receive your blessings.
+++ Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. In Jesus Name Amen!

Preservation of The Word

The preservation of God’s Word – the Bible – won’t ever cease. For it says, the grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of God stands forever. Upon realizing how the Word of God has been preserved over time it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Word of God is easily accessible through the internet. When the thought first came to my mind I was surprised. If ever paper books/paperbacks go away completely because of eReaders and tablets this won’t be an issue for the Bible, because the Bible is already accessible through the internet; it is able to be read on tablets, smartphones, and eReaders.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8

This verse isn’t just for God’s written Word – the Bible – but also for His spoken Word; the Word He speaks to His children both individually and collectively. Which brings me to say, what God speaks will come to pass, nothing against it is going to stop it.

God has the authority, power and dominion to pass a judgment and later relent if He pleases to. In the Old Testament this is seen when a person, a group or the leader of a group repents for his sins and/or the sins of the people. As I’m still on the topic of God’s Word, it shall be known that God has said, His Word will not return to Him void but it will accomplish what He has sent it forth to do and it will prosper in the thing it was sent to accomplish.

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11

In the last two verses of Isaiah 55, God speaks. After He has given us reassurance and confidence of His Word He then gives us His promise. Therefore, we can completely trust His Word.

“For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree. And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:12-13

Thank You Lord!

Music: Great Is Thy Faithfulness

I Like both of these versions of this hymn so I decided to share both. One version is sung slow and the other is a little bit faster so whichever one you choose to listen to I pray you are reminded of God’s faithfulness today and in the days to come.

If you don’t know God, then you don’t know His faithfulness. Try Him today. Receive Jesus into your life and begin living your life with God. Visit the Salvation page for more information. Have a wonderful day!

1 Corinthians 1:9, Hebrews 10:23, Psalm 139:16

1 Corinthians 1:9 “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord(NKJV).”

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold tightly without wavering, to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise (NLT).”

Psalm 139:16 “Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be(NKJV).”
