Rest assured, God still loves you and I. Our sin makes Him turn His face from us, for Isaiah 59:2 says, But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your iniquities have hidden His face from you, that he will not hear.” However, because of Jesus our sin can be washed away, never to be seen again. 1 John 1:9 says,” If we confess your sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Even in our mistakes that seem unforgivable, God forgives us and most of all He still loves us. Not with the mediocre “love” that is presented in the world; but with everlasting love that causes Him to draw us to Himself with loving-kindness. Jeremiah 31:3 says, “The Lord has appeared to me of old saying, ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness I have drawn you.”
Don’t swim in the pool of guilt longer than needed if you’ve wronged someone or if you continue to make simple mistakes in life. As a child of God remember what Romans 8:35-39 says,
“What shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord.”
If you are not a child of God or if you have not accepted Jesus Christ, you can do so now by going to the Receive Jesus As Your Savior page above and read through the information given.
All glory, praise, honor and thanks be unto the Almighty God, who reigns forevermore. May His word reach to all He has purposed for it to reach. May all who read it understand and receive it. For Your word O God, does not return to you void but it accomplishes what you have sent it to do. In Jesus name, Amen.
Note: it would be beneficial to read the entire chapters of Isaiah 59, Romans 8, 1 John 1 and Jeremiah.
🙂 May God bless you!
