Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others]. [Prov. 10:12.]
1 Peter 4:8 AMPC
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8 KJV
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8 NIV
She was reminded of personal touch
She looks back and remembers the hold he had on her
Truth be told she liked it
Just a bit surprising to her
She has and still is renewing a promise she made to the One who loved her first
It’s late night and she wants something she hasn’t had and two weeks
It is more than two weeks ago when she shared willingly
She waits on the One who loved her first
To help her through this time
To help her through her desires
Why awaken love until it is time
When is it time to awaken love
I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, By the gazelles or by the does of the field, Do not stir up nor awaken love Until it pleases.
Song of Solomon 2:7 NKJV
and also Song of Solomon 2:4
I take scripture literal most times. So I now wonder, why are we told not to awaken love until it so desires?
Me of a woman that is talked about in the Bible.
“…To deliver you from the immoral woman, From the seductress who flatters with her words, Who forsakes the companion of her youth, And forgets the covenant of her God…”
Proverbs 2:16-17 NKJV
If you feel like giving me a lifetime of devotion I second that emotion🎵🎶
Wondering, am I capable off loving someone for a lifetime? Is someone capable of loving me for a lifetime? I’m talking of the loving from an opposite sex, in the context of marriage. I’ve learned and know that all things are possible with God. With that being said, I am capable of loving someone for a lifetime and some man out there, wherever he is, is capable of loving me for a lifetime. I’m having hope, not wishful thinking.
Today’s devotional topic is about recognizing that although many of us are different [or the same] in race, color or ethnicity we are all created by God. He knows every single one of us and He does not rank us to see who should receive His love – no, He loves us all the same. With a GREAT love. Jesus said He will never turn away those who come to Him regardless of how our outward appearance looks.” – Tiffany Cole
