I am happy that I can go to my Lord and He is ready to hear what I have to say. In the book of Hebrews it says we can go to the throne of grace where we can find … Continue reading
My prayer for today.
That the Lord will perfect those things that concern me, my honey and my family.
“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” Psalm 138:8 NKJV
The first question I have today is, Lord, how can I be humble?
How can I show true humility as the tax collector did in Luke 18:9-14?

The Beauty of Brokenness • Psalm 51
I would like to try Kintsugi. It is a “centuries-old Japanese art of mending broken pottery.” Gold is mixed with resin and is used to put together again the broken object or pottery. I would like to try it, in hopes that I can try it and see the beautiful end result. I hope that is how we turn out. Beautiful after we have been broken. I think this is what happens.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
+++God sits on The Throne of Grace. He is Gracious and Merciful unto us.
+++GRACE is God’s unmerited favor and kindness towards us. Grace gives us the goodness of God which we did not deserve and His MERCY spears us from the punishment we did deserve.
+++As long as we did not blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, God will always forgive us of all our repented sins and iniquities. We may feel shame, regret and remorse but never feel condemned.
THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…
…for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.
+++Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

Don’t get too caught up with the law, but by all means strive to obey God’s commands. Most certainly live by His standards.
For those like me who’ve wondered about doing what’s right in Gods eyes all the time and desiring to keep His Word and live by His standards and yet fall short, remember this:
Jesus desires mercy and not sacrifice.
God desires mercy and not sacrifice.
Jesus said it himself in Matthew 9:12 and 13. And we see it in the Old Testament book of Hosea chapter 6 verse 6.
Sacrifice – law – debt – paying a debt – repaying/ paying back/ fairness – guilty without paying. Law- no mercy – rules/following rules – no leeway – absolute judgment
Mercy – sin forgotten – debt forgotten – free/freedom – guilt free – welcomed and accepted – wanted
Matthew 9:12, 13 “When Jesus heard that, He said to them, ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.’ But go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.'”
This is so awesome!
To God belong all glory, honor, and praise. May He give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding in Jesus’ name. Amen.
