Galatians 3:26-29

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith,  for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ JesusIf you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”  Galatians 3:26-29

How do you clothe yourself in Christ, or how do you become one in Christ? It’s simple, Romans 10:8-10 says, “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

So you see, it’s simple to become part of the family of God. For more information on what to do visit the Salvation Prayer page above and read the information given. If you have any questions just leave a comment. 🙂 Be blessed.

Saved Only By Faith

How does God justify those who believe in Jesus and His resurrection? And how does God make those who believe righteous through faith in Christ Jesus?

Romans 2:21-28 “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”

Being justified and righteous has nothing to do with following or obeying the written law, but it has everything to do with faith and believing in Jesus (and His resurrection).

Everyone is able to be justified by faith without having done the things in accordance with the law (Romans 3:28). The law considered in this verse are the laws and customs the people had(religious laws); laws written from Moses including the ten commandments, circumcision and other laws that accumulated overtime. At this point in time we have various laws that have been created by government officials throughout countries, states and cities. My point here is that the Word of God (the Holy Bible) still applies in this present time. Obeying God’s commandments and statutes and obeying the laws in our country and state don’t make us right with God, it does not make us able to have a relationship with God, and it can’t get us into heaven or the new Jerusalem. For us to be on the right page, in right standing, or on “good-terms” with God we need to have FAITH in the blood of JESUS.

For Romans 3:29-31, we learn that Jesus is not just for (or he did not come for) only a specific group of people (for instance, only those who are Jewish), rather Jesus came for everyone (the Jews and the Gentiles, including Italians, Asians, Easterners, Southerners, etcetera).

Although the law is not needed for a person to be justified the law should not be rendered useless but established or followed (Romans 3:31).

For by grace are ye saved through faith; not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
