Morning Text Message

“Governing and Managing Our Thoughts
2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Proverb 23:7
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…
+The thoughts we think, good or bad can eventually go from your minds (souls) to your heart (spirits) and then to our bodies, and also to other areas of our lives.
+Our thoughts can affect and have tremendous impact on us.
+Only think on things that are Good, Healthy and Positive. Think of the things that are of Love, Truth, Holiness, Righteousness and Faith Building.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are True, Honest, Just, Pure, Lovely, things that are of Good Report; if there be any Virtue, and if there be any Praise, think on these things.
+Remember thoughts can become beliefs, and beliefs can become a reality. Governing and Managing our thoughts is our Responsibility.

•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for our lives. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

Verse of the Morning

The Power of Demonstration – Our Daily Bread Devotional of March 24th 2018

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
II Timothy 3:16‭-‬17 NKJV

Preservation of The Word

The preservation of God’s Word – the Bible – won’t ever cease. For it says, the grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of God stands forever. Upon realizing how the Word of God has been preserved over time it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Word of God is easily accessible through the internet. When the thought first came to my mind I was surprised. If ever paper books/paperbacks go away completely because of eReaders and tablets this won’t be an issue for the Bible, because the Bible is already accessible through the internet; it is able to be read on tablets, smartphones, and eReaders.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8

This verse isn’t just for God’s written Word – the Bible – but also for His spoken Word; the Word He speaks to His children both individually and collectively. Which brings me to say, what God speaks will come to pass, nothing against it is going to stop it.

God has the authority, power and dominion to pass a judgment and later relent if He pleases to. In the Old Testament this is seen when a person, a group or the leader of a group repents for his sins and/or the sins of the people. As I’m still on the topic of God’s Word, it shall be known that God has said, His Word will not return to Him void but it will accomplish what He has sent it forth to do and it will prosper in the thing it was sent to accomplish.

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11

In the last two verses of Isaiah 55, God speaks. After He has given us reassurance and confidence of His Word He then gives us His promise. Therefore, we can completely trust His Word.

“For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree. And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:12-13

Thank You Lord!

Peace & Info.

Jesus said “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds;

tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the Lord swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

Deuteronomy 11:18-21

  • Study the word of God so that they may be in our heart and in our mind.(V.18)
  • Let Gods word be the guide for our actions.(V.18)
  • Teach the word of God to our children or whomever we can; that we may show them the love of God. That they may learn who God is.

He is merciful, faithful, loyal, forgiving, trustworthy, compassionate, caring, understanding and so much more. God provides peace, protection, and guidance. If there are people out in the world who know nothing about God and who may want help, we as Christians have to spread and share the truth of who God is.(V.19)

  • As Christians we are to surround our selves with the word of God. (V.21)
